The 10-story Park Haven Apartments features a community room, a wellness room, a children’s play area, a resident lounge, landscaped recreation areas bicycle storage and on-site laundry. She also singled out the Food Retail Expansion to Support Health (FRESH) Program which was instrumental in bringing a grocery store to occupy the building’s 14,000 foot commercial space. TCB’s Desiree Andrepont emcee’d the event praising the myriad partners who weathered a nearly decade long journey to opening Park Haven, including BronxWorks who, in addition to providing services in the building, moved their Workforce Development program into a 7,000+ sf ground floor space there.
